Description

Here is a Hoya that produces perhaps one of the most beautiful and unusual flowers in the genus. The corolla is a lime green color and the corona is dark burgundy/maroon. It is really unusual to see these two colors together and there is no other hoya like it. You can see these amazing flowers during the warmer months on established mature plants only.

The leaves are green, get pretty big, and have visible veins. This hoya is actually named after the cinnamon tree because of their foliage similarities. This hoya is a fairly fast grower during the warm season, but seems to slow down if you often prune it. I wouldn’t trim until you at least see flowers for the first time.
This hoya is rarely offered and a must have in your collection. The flowers make this hoya one of my personal favorites! It is native to Java in Indonesia.
We grow our Hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light, we only water when dry, and we protect well from cold weather.
