Description

I almost feel like this one doesn’t even need a fancy description because the leaves are so spectacular that all you need is a photo of the plant and you’ll be sold. It has light green hard flat leaves with an outstanding bluish/dark green vein pattern. The leaves also have some random silver flecks. It is one of the most beautiful foliage I have seen on a Hoya. The flowers are also pretty and can be seen on young plants. This Hoya is closely related to Hoya finlaysonii and the flowers are similar. The corolla is yellow with burgundy tips and the corona is white. Even though I like this one for the foliage, it also gives me blooms all the time. This Hoya is easy to grow, but is not commonly seen for sale.
We grow our Hoyas outside in S. FL in filtered light, we only water when dry, and we protect from cold temperatures.
