Description

This species is formerly known as H. pimenteliana. It is a graceful Hoya with very soft leaves with no visible veins. The leaves have a silky look when the light reflects off of it and it really shines. In my experience, this species grows quickly and flowers readily once mature. The flowers are pure white and have a beautiful fragrance. In our opinion, the flowers smell similar to Gardenia flowers. This Hoya is native to The Philippines. We grow it outside in south FL in filtered light and water only when dry. Make sure to protect it well from cold temperatures.

This Hoya doesn’t always have a perfect green leaf for us here outside in Florida. It does not indicate an unhealthy plant.
