Description
This species produces really beautiful vibrant flowers. The corolla is yellowish-orange and the corona is a dark pink/red color. The flowers smell a little bit like roses to me. The leaves are long, shiny, and have prominent veins. The leaves can turn red when exposed to more light or during the winter. The green leaves are nice too and it is an attractive hanging basket plant without flowers. This Hoya is easy to grow for me and grows fast. It is rarely offered for sale.
We grow our Hoyas outside in S. FL in bright filtered light and keep soils a little on the dry side. Make sure to protect well from cold temperatures.
****All photos were taken of our mature mother plants in bloom, not of the young plants for sale.
