This tropical succulent wax flower was collected by our friend in Cambodia and produces super fragrant flowers when mature. This is an easy to grow plant for beginners.

Ships in 5″ pot. The first two photos are an example on plant you will receive.
This hoya develops some black/dark blemishes/spots on the leaves in our climate. New growth is clean in different climate.

Flower pictures from mother plant only.

We received this as a cutting from a friend. She collected this hoya during one of her trips to Cambodia.

The leaves are very succulent and medium size, but I noticed that it develops two different types of leaves. Most of the leaves have 3 conspicuous veins. One day I noticed some different big leaves on my plant. I thought at first that it was a branch from a different hoya that was next to it, but I realized that it was coming from the same plant. The other leaves are big and have 5 conspicuous veins. It is very unusual.

After 2 years, my plant bloomed, with perfect spherical clusters of flowers. The corolla ranges from white to green and the corona is normally white with a little bit of pink center. These beauties have a very nice strong perfume fragrance! A frequent bloomer for me once established. A very knowledgeable Hoya source suspects that this is a Hoya pottsii clone.

We grow our hoyas outdoors in south FL in filtered light, we only water once they dry out, and we protect well during the cold months.
All photos were taken of our mature mother plants in bloom, not of the young plants for sale.
