Purchase this to ensure that your plants arrive warm! Sometimes a heatpack alone just doesn’t cut it.
What’s included? One 72-hour heat pack, foil insulation, “avoid freezing” notes on the box for the carrier, and personalized weather check.
Winter protection is $6 for up to 6 small plants in 4″ pots or smaller. If you are purchasing more than 6 plants, please add additional winter protection.
We are sorry, but we haven’t quite figured out how to safely ship huge plants in the winter. This means that plants in 6″ pots or larger will not be covered. Any questions about size of plant or order, please reach out to us via email and we will see if we can make it happen.
Winter protection is highly recommend to most customers, even if you live somewhere warmer like CA. Your box may stop somewhere cold along the way. If your night time temperatures are below 20 degrees, we recommend holding off on ordering.
We are located in south Florida. Florida customers should not need winter protection in most cases.
We do offer heat packs in our store if you prefer to just add a heatpack and not additional protection. Please understand that your box will then not be insulated and we will not check your weather if winter protection is not purchased.
