Description

Good potted plant for filtered light. The incredible flowers can appear anytime during the year and they actually look like they are made of plastic or porcelain. The plant does not form a root ball like most plants, instead they produce air roots that come from up in the branches and reach the floor bypassing the pot. In nature, Clusias may start on the ground and them climb on top of other plants using their air roots for support. Clusias need very good drainage, average moisture during the warmer months and drier during the colder months. Freezing temperatures should be avoided.
