Description

This is a variegated form of the kapok tree or silk floss tree. This tropical tree becomes a quite spectacular tree that provides good shade. I wouldn’t expect outstanding flowers, but the foliage is the true beauty on this one. The blue/green variegated leaves are very pretty. You can plant this tree in the ground in frost free locations. Depending on the conditions, it can grow 20′ – 50′ tall. If kept in a pot, just gradually put it in larger containers and trim once in a while. You can even turn this into a Bonsai! This is a rare tree.
