Description

This Bulbophyllum mastersianum can be grown mounted, or in potted in sphagnum moss, fine bark or with a medium that has excellent drainage. It grows in warm conditions with good air circulation. Bulbophyllum’s are known for being the largest genus in the orchid family with about 2000 species. The name derived from the Latin word bulbus (bulb-like) and the Greek work phyllon (leaf), referring to the pseudobulbs on top of which the leaf is growing. Blooming beautiful golden yellow with a hint of maroon flowers, the Bulbophyllum mastersianum are unique for their curved shape.
