Barleria cristata ‘Lavender Lace’ (check back in fall 2024)

This is an interesting tropical shrub or bush that produces white with purple striped flowers on and off through out the year in tropical climates. Very unique.

Description

A one-of-a-kind tropical shrub native to India and SE Asia. It produces showy and unique white with purple-striped flowers. It blooms heaviest in fall, but flowers can be seen sporadically any time of the year in a tropical climate.
This bush will look nice as a hedge or in a container. It grows up to 3 feet tall.
It can grow in full sun to bright shade. It likes regular watering. Some fertilizing and some pruning is required. Protect from freezing especially if for a long period of time.
