Description

Amorphophallus ongsakulii was discovered in the rain forest of Laos in 2004 by Alan Galloway and Annop Ongsakul and described in 2006. This is a miniature form of Amorphophallus known as the Fern-Leaf Voodoo Lily. It is perhaps the smallest species of Amorphophallus. The small size bulbs produce delicate 3″ tall green stem and the leaves up on top. Almost looks like a mini Australian  tree fern.

The tiny flower emerges alongside the stems in the spring time.

It is easy to grow and likes the shade. Average water during the warm months, less in the winter when dormant.

Very rare and unique! Make sure to keep the tag in the plant because it is very easy to lose it in your greenhouse among the other giant plants during the winter when sleeping.
