This tropical plant known as Alocasia ‘Reticulata’. It is adored for its pretty, narrow, elongated, and green-yellow foliage. The leaves have an odd coloration effect commonly known as reticulated (hence the reason for their name) which is said to be a pretty rare feature for any plant. The leaves sit on top of upright, long, slender, brown, and green-striped stalks also known as petioles, which add more uniqueness to this elephant ear. This plant is said to be a very rare plant, which often cannot be found in the wild. They can grow 3 to 5 feet tall in the best possible conditions. These are perfect for adding some texture and color to your gardens but can also be grown in containers to keep as houseplants too. They prefer to be kept evenly moist and fertilized monthly during the growing season and should be protected from frost in the cooler months. Elephant ears’ features become more defined when they are mature so be sure to give them some time to grow.
