We received this as a cutting from my friend. She collected this hoya during one of her trips to Cambodia. It has grown really fast for me. The leaves are thick and get big, but it develops two different types of leaves. Most of the leaves have 3 conspicuous veins. One day I noticed some different big leaves on my plant. I thought at first that it was a branch from a different plant that was next to it, but I saw that it was coming from the same plant. The other leaves are big and have 5 conspicuous veins. It is very unusual. After 2 years my plant bloomed. The flowers are a beige color with light pink center. The flowers have a very nice fragrance! A very knowledgeable Hoya source suspects that this is a Hoya pottsii clone.

We grow our hoyas outdoors in filtered light. Hoyas are known for being good indoor plants as well. Most hoyas like to be kept a little on the dry side. Give the hoyas with thin leaves more water. Hoyas like to grow in small pots with a trellis or hanging baskets. Fertilization is average. Hoyas need to be protected from cold temperatures.
